Fun Facts

✖ If Meja considers you a friend, she's loyal and will always try to help you to the best of her ability.
✖ She has nosocomephobia — fear of hospitals and infirmaries — because of her mother's ten-year sickness.
✖ Flirting goes right over her head, most of the time.
✖ Relative (emotional) isolation since the cusp of adulthood has left her somewhat socially awkward, and a default loner.
✖ When in a particularly happy, or peevish, mood she can get rather snarky. That said, there isn't an actual cruel bone in her body. If it starts bothering a person whose company she enjoys, she'll stop.
✖ Her runes mean that she can technically drink any amount of booze she wants, and the only bad thing that will happen is that she gets drunk. Alcohol poisoning isn't an issue. Hangovers are rare.
✖ Pop culture references she's clueless on, but questions about H.P. Lovecraft, Grimm's Fairy Tales, Norse Mythology, and other things along those lines? She's all over that. (Her mother used to read them to her, as bedtime stories — she's desensitized.)
✖ Meja has an inferiority complex, especially among the other very powerful people in the Observatory. But she will always, at the end of the day, try to do the right thing, which sometimes means acknowledging that she can take hits that some other people can't.
✖ Can't draw worth a damn. Just stick figures. And runes, of course, but runes are just lines.
✖ She almost never uses her full strength, usually just a little bit of it at first (as she can turn normal people to soup with a punch). The only time she starts off full-blast is with giants and the like.
✖ Spending a lot of time in her local pub as a teenager/pre-teen means she learned some card games and card tricks from sailors coming through. She's very good at the ones she knows. She doesn't indulge very often, though.
